Ingredients :
  • 250 gms Prawn - shells removed and cleaned
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • pepper powder - to sprinkle
  • 1/4 cup onion cubes
  • 1/4 cup tomato cubes
  • 1/4 cup capsicum cubes
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander

Method :
  • Marinate prawn with lemon juice, turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp red chili powder and little salt. Keep aside for 10 mins.
  • Heat oil in a pan or kadhai and tamper mustard seeds. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves and chopped onions. Fry for few mins.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped tomatoes. Mash the pulp. Add marinated prawn, red chili powder and salt to taste.
  • Cook for 5 mins. Add onion, tomato and capsicum cubes. Cook for another 5-10 mins. Garnish with chopped coriander and remove from the heat. Serve hot with rice or roti.
